The cold and snowy weather was set to put a damper on this super anual event at the wonderful Rivington Hall Barn – however all you wonderful brides & grooms with your families turned out in force !!
I do love the team at Rivington Barn – Anna, Kevin & Trish Salmon are so warm & welcoming – not only to their clients but to all of the suppliers. It’s always a pleasure to be working at Rivington.
The barn looked at it’s absolute best – all twinkles & dressed to impress all decked out with tables fully laden with china, cutlery, napkins & of course not forgetting our lovely table displays.
This year I focused The Gilded Lily’s floral displays on 2 themes – No 1 rustic (Oranges & yellows), No 2 elegant (pretty pinks & creams) using a range of containers (images to follow).
After all these years I still find it amazing what appeals to who & why – over the last couple of nights different displays have attracted a whole range of comments (all complimentary I hasten to add !) – although I have to say that the tall imposing silver candelabra topped with 5 slender candles & a very beautiful ball of palest pink & cream roses, drizzled with hanging crystals did attract the most attention – I was particularly proud of it !!
So to all you lovely couples thank-you for taking the time to visit this amazing venue & for booking your appoinments with The Gilded Lily !!
